Join us for an inspiring evening with award-winning Palestinian human rights activist Iyad Burnat. As head of the Bil’in Popular Committee, Iyad has devoted his life to nonviolent resistance and the fight for justice, freedom, and human rights.
Iyad’s story is featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary Five Broken Cameras, filmed by his brother. He is the author of Bil’in and the Nonviolent Resistance (2016) and a recipient of the 2015 James Lawson Award for Nonviolent Conflict.
This event includes:
• A personal 20-minute film documented by Iyad himself, offering a powerful glimpse of his family’s struggle for justice.
• A talk about Bil’in village’s efforts to resist occupation and land theft
• A discussion on his journey, challenges, and commitment to peaceful activism.
• An opportunity to engage with Iyad during a Q&A session.
